Install and Tune Derailleur

If we’re fixing a bent or broken derailleur hanger, or replacing your bent derailleur, we’ll install and tune the indexing on a front or rear derailleur plus check limit screws and chaingap. Note this service charge is for mechanical derailleurs only, from 6 to 12 speed.

Derailleur Service

Sometimes your derailleur gets so built up with road grime and chain lube that it needs a bath. We’ll remove your derailleur and ultrasonic-clean it, plus we’ll service the jockey wheels and lube all the pivots before reinstalling. Note: derailleurs with a clutch can’t be cleaned with ultrasonics! Price does not include any parts required.

Derailleur Hanger Alignment

Your derailleur hanger can bend – that’s its job! We’ll remove your derailleur and realign the hanger to restore shifting performance. A warning though: it’s quite common for the hanger to break after being bent. If this happens we’ll fit a new hanger.
