Old Trick Bicycle Tyre Repair

If you have problems with flat tyres, here’s one of the things you can do – it’s an old trick, but it still works.
Take your old tube and cut the valve out of it, then cut the tube up the inside to open it out.
Inflate your new tube enough to hold its shape, then wrap the old tube around it to form a protective layer.
Install the new double-layer tube into the tyre and be careful it doesn’t bunch up inside – folds can cause punctures.
Inflate and ride!
